Why stay here
- No transfer from either airport. The Toei Asakusa Line runs through-trains to the Keikyu Line (Haneda) and the Keisei Line (Narita)1. Not every train runs through — check the destination board before boarding.
- Two lines at one station. JR Sobu Line for Akihabara and Shinjuku, Toei Asakusa Line for Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree (Oshiage), Nihombashi and Ginza.
- A working neighbourhood. Asakusabashi is known for long-established Japanese doll makers and wholesale shops for packaging and shop supplies. It is not a tourist district, which is the point for many people who stay here.
